Accessibility Statement

At Sea Star Design, I build websites with accessibility in mind because I believe the web should feel easy and welcoming for everyone.

I design with accessibility in mind by:

  • Using clear structure and headings for logical reading order.

  • Checking colour contrast to make text easier to read.

  • Ensuring sites work with keyboard navigation.

  • Adding alternative text to meaningful images.

  • Following recognised guidance such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

My goal is to make accessibility a natural part of each project, rather than an afterthought. While not every site will meet full WCAG compliance — particularly where third-party tools or older content are involved — I am committed to continuous improvement and to helping clients understand and prioritise accessibility in their online presence.

If you encounter any barriers when using my website, I would love to hear from you so I can keep improving.
